"Soul Distinction" 1969 - 1973. A notable Christchurch based band performing covers of the day, started out gigging at dances, youth clubs, weddings, parties etc, then went on to the club and pub scene. Mark Loeffen and Vern Park had formerly played in the Christchurch band "The Heritage".
"Soul Distinction" had many lineup changes over the years including Adrian Cook (bass Guitar), Ian Stewart, Richard Stewart, Richard Carr (lead Guitar) in the latter years.
