On board Shaw Savill`s "Ocean Monarch" en route to London 1972. "The Other Band" were comprised of Ally Matthews drums and vocals, Graeme Osten keyboards, Graham Harvey bass and Blake Thompson guitar and vocals. Both Blake and Graham Harvey were ex "Falcons", and put together "The Other Band" for the voyage. After six months they returned to NZ on the "Southern cross" , and took up residency at the "The Cricketers Arms" in Tory St Wellington for most of 1973....Images and script C/- Ross Burgess.
