"The Garry Powell Band" played for several years mainly at the Shakespeare Tavern and Globe Tavern in Auckland with a few tours around the top half of the North Island Lion pubs. Played mostly Blues Rock, GPBand had several rhythm section changes over the years with some top line musicians such as Wayne bennett - Wayne Apanui - Simon Elton - Lindsay Lawson - Bruce Tyson. - Sadly Garry passed away June 2020..(Information and pictures C/- ricko.co.nz NZ Circuit Bands and Musicians)
