"Phil Jacobs Combo" 1967-68 were a Blues group from Wellington and in had a blues club in a coffee bar in Willis Street Wellington. The lineup included Milton Parker on guitar, George Limbidis on Bass, Darryl Jacob SNR on drums and Phil Jacobs on Vocals. Late in 1968 they went to Melbourne and changed their name to "Freshwater" and added Peter Sheehan on Hammond organ and Bill Ryland later replaced Phil on vocals. Their repertoire by then had moved on from blues. They recorded a single "Together till the end of time" on W&G records. Later versions of the group included none of the original members.... Written by Ross Burgess.

By 1970 Milton Parker and George Limbidis had returned to NZ, George then formed a group they named "Highway"
