Dave Cowell - A very popular Vocalist/Guitarist who was a foundation member of the Variety Artists Club of New Zealand. In the early 1960s he joined a band named "Hi-Brows" which worked in Sydney, Australia. In 1971 Dave worked the cruise ship "Marco Polo" with Paul Bennett, joining other Kiwi artists such as The Yandell Sisters, Jon Zealando, Brigette Allen and Paul Fisher.
Dave also had a longstanding residency at "The Potters Wheel Tavern" New Lynn Auckland during the late 1970s through the 1980s as a solo entertainer.
