Above: Rick and Mark at their five year long residency (1984 to 1990) at The New Orient Restaurant Strand Arcade Auckland where they worked Monday through to Thursday, leaving the rest of the week free for road and pub gigs, the boys had a completely different repertoire for the pub and club scene.

Above: Very Sadly The New Orient no longer exists. The New Orient (or Orient) restaurant in Auckland's Strand Arcade closed down in 2010. It was a well-known Chinese restaurant in the Strand Arcade, between Queen Street and Elliott Street, and was one of the earliest Chinese restaurants in Auckland. The restaurant opened in the 1970s and closed its doors in 2010

Nightshift Duo 1981 - 1992 Originally formed by Mark Wenski and Gary Orme - Gary left the Duo after two months and teamed up with Simon Ross who then became the circuit duo named "Roxoff" - Rick Warren replaced Gary Orme - Nightshift Duo stayed together for 12 years.
